I actually think Europe can get some F series trucks. They might have to be special order but I have heard of many a truck being over there.

One of my customers recently retired from the Army, he spent his last 5 years in Germany. There he had an older F-150 v-8 (gas) 4x2 .He said it got 40 mpg , now that would be imperial gallon so if you do the math it would be around 32 mpg US gallon. Try to find an F-150 v8 here that can do that.......

mmm... I'm thinking that the laws of internal combustion work about the same here as there... 32 mpg in a 5000 lb V8 pickup? Maybe 40 liters/gallon, which would work out to something around 11 mpg. Sans documentation, 32 mpg in a full-size F is an urban legend if I've ever heard one.

True. I was in Germany two weeks ago. They can get the F series, most of them are diesel. AND, not that I would buy one, Chrysler mini vans are available in diesel also.
