Default 2011 Suzuki Equator

Register to stop seeing this ad!

Hey Guys, do any of you know if Suzuki is coming out with a 2011 Equator? When I Google "2011 Suzuki Equator", all I get are web pages with auto generated content trying to sell leads.

It seems like the Equator has had a hard time picking up any steam. However, Joe Callimachus has had an overall good experience so far with the exception of an air conditioning problem. Joe has even averaged 21.38 MPG! That's not too shabby for a pickup

You can see some pictures of his trip here: Equator Road Trip - Suzuki Equator Forums

Let me know your thoughts on the Suzuki Equator and if you have heard if they are going to continue with a 2011 model.

I stopped and looked at a 2011 Equator a couple days ago, no changes for 2011. A salesman there earlier this year said Suzuki is working on its own truck to come out in a year or two. I think the xl7 could be a good platform to start with.

Ah cool. I've still never seen one in person. We have one Suzuki dealer in Spokane.

Very few dealers here. One in RI, Maybe one or two others in Eastern Mass. We used to have one here in town but they closed a few years ago. Not sure anyone noticed...

they are essenaitlly 100% Nissan Frontier. I think Nissan has big (maybe that is little ;D) plans for the Frontier in the next two years. they are plannign on downsizing the truck somewhat (think current Ford Ranger) and should update the powertains to be more efficient. I know Nissan was working on diesels for the Maxima here in the US and maybe that 2.2 (it might have even been a 3.0) can make it in as an optional motor.

It's 100% Nissan with some Suzuki cosmetics . I think the Suzuki version looks a lot better and has a much better guarantee 100,000 miles..
