Question Credit at a Dealership

Register to stop seeing this ad!

So, I have $1600 in credit at an auto dealer that is thousands of miles away from me... They are a Ford/Dodge dealership. Putting it towards a vehicle isn't that practical since they are so far away. I can't just get cash. I think my best bet is to order some sort of expensive item from the parts dept and then resell it on eBay at a loss.

Does anyone have ideas as to what I could buy and sell with the least amount of loss? Or at least a somewhat expensive item that is in high demand?

Is the credit transferable, if so put it on Craigs list in the city the dealer lives in, maybe someone would offer say 1200 dollars for the 1600 dollar credit that they can use on a vehicle.

These are both good ideas. Not sure if it is transferable or not. Maybe I can get them to convert it to a gift certificate, and then Craigslist would probably work.
