According to the Wall Street Journal's interview with Mr. Goenka it still could happen yet this year.

We've definately been let down a few times already but I want to believe this is the "official word from India" we've all been expecting.

Now I can buy one and call it a Christmas present for my wife! I really spoil that bride of mine.

Default India Speaks...

... unfortunately, the Wall Street Journal has lost it's ability to write a comprehedable headline:

In a First, Truck From India to Sell in U.S.

"In a First" what?

First time India has built a truck? No...

First time WSJ has written an article about Mahindra? No...

How about a headline that just says "Truck From India to Sell in U.S."

Okay, I know I'm talking to the wrong crowd here. Lately I have been spotting a lot of crap writing being passed off as "journalism". I guess I need to stop reading so much while I am on vacation.

Sorry.

Sounds to me like it's the first Indian truck to be sold in the US.

Maybe you are right.

This is a post that I regret making. I think I am getting cranky in my old age... Plus I screwed up on spell-checking the word "comprehedable" big-time!
