No big announcement yet!

Us dealers are still receiving weekly updates until the big announcement arrives. For the most part the weekly updates are topics that are old news by the time I receive them. Especially if your a MTF member or keep up to date with Chris's posts on the Mahindra Planet. Lets take a look at some recent communications.

A Few weeks ago we received the furniture piece known as the "Mahindra Heritage Wall".

About a week after that I received a call from the company making the signs for all the dealers. Although the signs are not being installed yet they are starting to make the necessary arrangements to do so.

Last week our update from Global consisted of an Extensions list of personnel as well as Parts, Service, & Distribution.

While these things seem small, my impression is they are starting to set up shop. We have all been told if we dont have everthing in place (furniture / signs / necessary dealership essentials) then we will not get the trucks until we do. Needless to say I have paid for our sign in full and have the furniture piece in place.

I will update everyone as I receive updates worthy of the Forum.

Thanks for reading,
-Jay

Thanks for that Delightful unfulfilling, Non Comitting, Update.

So your saying, things are moving forward, but not at a pace that indicates trucks will be arriving any time in the immediate future.

We need to get an inside guy at the Supplier for the signs.
Kind of like in the Corporate world the Guys who change the names on the office doors are the first to know who is coming in and who is going out

I was hoping to hear that the trucks were cleared or on the way...unfortunate but pieces are falling in place. Hopefully the pace will pick up as soon as possible, maybe get these things in the US before the summer is over...

Thanks for the update Jay!
Common guys, you know better, just think September! Even if the pass the APA in May, than you have production, shipping to US, dealer mechanics training etc...
If you can wait until September it is more likely to happen than. If it arrives in August, it is just a bonus, but don't count on that.

Thanks Jay.

I guess I see that as good news. That's the groundwork stuff that GV is in charge of for Mahindra. If they are working on that, things are moving along. I'm going the glass half full route on this. I think it's positive that GV has also been keeping decent contact.
