Default Aah, so.

Thanks, Chris. It makes sense that when they are having trouble meeting current demand, launching a new market is problematic. Predicting exactly when things will improve will also be tough. I guess that is why they were in no special hurry to get the testing and certification completed, they can't build enough trucks to sell here, anyway.

Oh look! Another excuse not to launch their trucks in the US! They're starting to get creative! (never mind the fact that the truck STILL hasn't been EPA Certified or certified by the NTHSA for US Roads....they'll just use "parts shortage" as their excuse this time).

Note to Mahindra: This is getting old.

Not sure where you’re coming from. I’m definitely frustrated as well by the delays, I can’t wait to get my hands on a diesel-powered light truck, but this article had to do with the booming Indian market, not the US. Based on comments by the president of Mahindra’s automotive division, the company is incredibly serious about the launch: "Since our long-term aspiration is to be known as the premier SUV and pickup manufacturer in the world, it is but natural that we must sell and be successful in the U.S… Without that we cannot call ourselves a premier player in that segment.”

I’ve also read in multiple news sources that the company will announce a launch date in the coming weeks.
