So now we read that there will be a new model of the Scorpio coming out in 2014, and possibly to be sold in other parts of the world. Unfortunately, they can't make them in Alabama since they went and stated categorically that the rumor is false, can they? . . . but it would make sense for them to utilize that plant to assemble pickup trucks there and the timing is probably about right. Two years sounds like a long time, but it might be possible that they will be ready to try a launch of the new truck here- once they've decided it is ready for this market. Surely they are making plans and hopefully they will use the dealers that had already signed on to sell them.
