Blue, you're absolutely right. Not much of a rating. Most of us understand that sales people highlight the positive, so it's not surprising that the least fuel efficient model couldn't reach the advertised m.p.g. rating, but it was still a disappointment. I wonder why that was the only model they released the numbers on? If Mahindra can railroad their way through the arbitration proceedings and take over the dealer network, and if they decide to send trucks our way, it would likely be the new model (Genio) instead of what we were waiting for. I don't know of any changes to the drivetrain or other features (maybe less drag) that would improve fuel economy for those trucks, still it would be interesting to get the whole story. I want GV to be treated fairly, and I hope they are, but I'd still be willing to test drive a Mahindra truck if they sent one over. Not sure about a Ssangyong, but it was a small diesel truck I wanted- so if they're offering one then I'd probably consider that, too. I get the feeling that since the likelihood of these trucks hitting our shores has plummeted, the other manufacturers breathed a sigh of relief and are not preparing a product to answer the threat (otherwise known as what a segment of the market was looking for).

What are the fuel economy figures on a crewcab four wheel drive F-150? I don't care because I'm not going to buy one of those, either.

I dont think so ,the fix was on.Mahindra sent trucks that had bad milage so the dealer network their trying to screw wont want to fight too hard to keep. Most all the slezebag moves mahindra makes are easy to see through unless your some dope from india. They still dont and never will know how much of a hit their reputation has taken with their laim attempts to manilipulate laws here in the US.Now their going to build in this country to screw GV and avoid Chicken tax.Nice try mahindra saw that coming like a freight train.I would still buy a mahindra truck if it got 34 mpg with 10 year bumper to bumper unlimited warrenty.

Crew cab eco-boost 4x4 f150 mpg------- 21
Extended cab V6 4x4 Ranger mpg-------- 18

Even the crew cab 5 liter 4x4f150 is showing 19 mpg

These are all window stickers guesstamates.

With #'s like these its no wonder the ranger is outta here.
