Default Dealers Taking Fight Directly to Mahindra

Register to stop seeing this ad!

In addition to 40 dealers who intend to join the class action lawsuit being filed against both Mahindra and Global Vehicles, there are now 70 dealers who are filing complaints with their individual states against Mahindra. This is a link to the Automotive News article, but I have some additional insight that I'll post on MP this week. Tomorrow I'll have a post with some more details on the three separate actions being brought against Mahindra right now, and I have a dealer's take on the whole situation. It's an interesting post... Stay tuned.

Oh, and I have another really cool non-Mahindra story I'm working on that I'm surprised the mainstream truck press hasn't reported yet.

I still have doubts as to whether this was a scam by GV and Mahindra from the start . The dealer listed nearest to me was in Oak Hill , WV. It was supposedly a current Chevrolet dealer , but it never existed .... never ever existed ...not even as a Chevrolet dealer ....

Not sure how accurate the dealer list on the web site ever was, and so I don't know about WV, but if this was a scam, it was huge and a lot of real people sure got taken. I spoke to a dealer in Massachusetts, and another in Connecticut, and they were real enough...

I think GV was on the level all the way.I also think that m&m started out that way, then changed their minds and all went to crap because of that.Look at where they do most of their business.Mostly third world countries where they can bribe anyone who is in a position to help them in their agenda. Here in the USA bribes still work for politicians but here is where the car business really started and it "ain't our first rodeo".In short my friends,m&m bit off more then can can chew,or handle and it's gonna get nasty for them.AND they as a company will lose some worldwide face.

I believe your right that it started out as a great plan which turned ugly at some point , hard to honestly say when . I think the final straw was the epa ratings which Mahindra new about it seems for months before we knew how bad it was . I'm still not sure what plan B is ... The more I see and read on the new Ford 3.5 & 3.7 they look to be not up to par yet . If I were to do an F150 at this point it would be the 5.0 ...
