Default Ssangyong KEV2 Concept Unveiled, 2013 Production Possible

Looks like the feed is a little wacky. In a nutshell, this post is about the Ssangyong KEV2 concept CUV. It’s all electric with a 93 mph top speed and it’s good for 112 miles on a charge. If you like EVs and South Korean auto show models in miniskirts, click to read the full story and check out the photos.

The models are nice...
The vehicle's nose is REALLY ugly. The rest is just plain-vanilla...

the front end looks a lot like VW's new EV project "Up"

I am sure there will be a market for something like this, I need a truck more than CUV but plenty of soccer moms will like it

The styling is a little out there (the KEV2, not the models), but I think its okay and generally appealing to a lot of people. This is coming from someone who fully admits the TR is ugly but likes it.

The range and speed are interesting to me. If they can back that up, then they have a viable EV for the US market. Most Asian customers probably aren’t going to need something that will go 112 miles on a single charge or run at 93 mph, but in North America those would be minimum requirements. Clearly that is the target.

the actual EPA cycle results will likely knock that down a bit to about 75-80 miles (based on what the Leaf and Focus electric can do)

still its a decent start and would work as a second vehicle. My wife and I were just discussing getting me a used Leaf or Focus in the next couple of years since the Prius can be the distance traveler.

Why did Ford stop the Ranger EV ? Everything I've read about it seemed decent .
