The truck was actually unvelied in Indonesia so it is a SE Asia marketed vehicle although I think it would head to Europe and South America too.

Announcement location often means little anymore. Mercedes announced several new models in China, as did Buick just a bit ago. Those models have since been introced for sale in the US...

Yeah but this was stated in the press release that it was specifically the Indonesian truck not the one the rest of the world would get (it is still a "concept" but it stated for the next Indonesian made Colorado for sale in the SE Asia market)

I have a feeling we'll get some version of the truck but it will likely be decontented to keep the price down and that means fewer power train choices for us.

Deconteneted powertrain choices, but lets slap in a near-manditory Cadillac-esque interior loaded to the gills with every whizbang and doodad known to man.

Now if only I can have a whizbang in the truck without the doodad

Ok I am already revising my statement. I actually went through Honda's website and the towing hauling capabilities are probably ok as is. 1500 lbs hauling and 5000 towing. (the 20% increase wouldn't hurt though)

MPG's 15/20 TERRIBLE.... I figured the 5-speed wasn't helping the 20 figure but the damn thing weighs in at a minimum of 4500 lbs. WTF!

I am keeping with my 20% theme and adding a 20% weight reduction to the list and 20% price drop. For all this "capability" they want nearly $32k MSRP for the mid-level model with no options.

Let's hope Sergio understands the value approach and builts a decently capable truck with a modest price and creature comforts.
