Exclamation Official GV Statement Regarding EPA Fuel Economy Results

Register to stop seeing this ad!

Here is Global Vehicles official response to the EPA results posted yesterday.

Global Vehicles has seen the EPA results for the Mahindra TR40, 4WD, automatic pickup truck posted on their website, the results are different than expected but our expectations from promises made by Mahindra has always been 29 to 30 miles per gallon for a 2WD truck, and somewhat lower for a 4WD, we have sent a message to Mahindra for further explanation and will forward as soon as we receive the answer.

To be continued...

That makes me feel pretty good about my new Tacoma making only 18mpg !
That is my average. I have a 60% HWY drive in my commute, and I drive a Double cab, 4x4 V6 w long bed (6ft).
Loving the Taco...

A piece of good news. I found an even better first gen Cummins. A 1993 with only 71k original miles and 4x4 (a grandpa truck and grandpa just died)

It is going up for auction on the 26th. If I don't have to be in Charlotte for work I'll be there bidding.

Dude! Good luck with the bidding! '93 definitely the best year Cummins in the old body style...
