When the Rich Donate to Harvard, They allow the smart, under Privileged, to gain access to the school as well.

Not that that is the motive in this case, But it is a side effect.

now now, it is hundreds of millions in utter poverty, not just millions All joking aside it is a big deal to get a building at a place like Harvard named after you. the money goes largely to help fund scholarships for people like me who can get accepted but not afford it. (damn me for being born with a brass spoon as opposed to a silver one )

Although there are arguably other donations that would affect a greater amount of people at least they are funding something that probably produces triple the effect (in funding an education)

I would bet a crispy new $100 bill that they both fund many programs in India to help their fellow countrymen. Indian people (at least the few families I personally know) are quite generous both in money and effort if they have either/or to give. Now they certainly pick the biggest bang for the buck, they aren't wasteful by any means but they certainly do what they can to help one another out.

Latinos are very similar. Like my friend Roman says "you mess with one bean and you mess with the whole burrito!"
