I heard "I'll see you in court".

It may be awhile before this is settled. On the plus side- we were wondering why they were introducing the last run of a model here, but by next year or the year after they ought to be coming out with the new and improved Appalachian- or whatever- pickup truck. They may have to go through testing again, get new government approval, spend a few extra rupees, but it's their choice.

You can stick a fork in this relationship, cause it's DONE..I just hope the dealers don't get screwed . It sounds like if the dealers do try to do a deal with screwM&screwM GV will see them in court...

Maybe this situation needs a mediater to come up with an alternative to avoid a long legal stalemate. Maybe we could introduce the trucks to North America through Canada and distribute from there, not showing any disrepect just looking for a solution. Building the trucks in Canada was mentioned months ago at a closed navistar plate in Chatham Ontario. Sorry it was an offer that being made to Mahindra. Not trying to ruffle any feathers , tell me what you think.

Default from a local dealer salesman...

... "Nothing is going to happen here until this matter is settled."

I got the feeling that I actually knew more about the situation than he did.

I also got the feeling that the dealership management really did not want to talk to customers about the details/dealer position on the situation so they gave all the sales people a stock answer to that question.

That said, I think that a lot of dealers are gonna sit on the fence until GV and M&M finally sort the problem out - meaning that we may not see a truck for a long time to come - or M&M will pull it's head out and decide that it really needs to sell trucks while the market is theirs for the taking...

Thatis my point Canada also has Mahindra in the agriculture sector plus Navistar who Mahindra partners with in other ventures. And Canada has a free-trade agreement with U.S.A. Also if those Trucks can handle Canadian winters that's a feather in their hat. Tell me what you think. After all most of our fuel comes from Canada anyway , ha ha have a good day truck fans.
