I think it's great that they can produce nearly anything for nearly any market... except the pick up trucks they said they'd sell us.

what P.J. O'Rourke said in Car and Driver is telling: "...it appears to be built by people who have heard of pickups but never seen one."

I'm sure their aircraft will be as good as their trucks here. With all their partnering all over the world it's no wonder they forgot about the American market and their deal with GV.

What M & M has done to all the dealers that have made their business plans around broken promises is unforgivable. Times have been tough for most businesses lately, and these dealers that have signed up to sell their trucks can ill afford to pay out money and wait for a product that never materializes because this overblown company would see them all sink for a few extra rupees profit. The best thing that could happen with the GV lawsuit is for M&M to have to pay all concerned triple their money back and keep their lousy stinking curry wagons at home. Anand, Pawan and the rest-go home and stay there.

I see a problem, you may die from old age if you want to wait at the airport for this one to show up.

I would imagine some of the dealers have sued or will sue John Perez/GV. Some of these dealers gave him $75,000 over ten years ago....Geez, I'd be pissed by now!

Can you imagine being the wife of one of the dealers that was in the original Crosslander deal and let the franchise fee roll over till Mr. Perez found another truck to import.

I deleted this post this morning. I must have hit ‘publish’, when I thought I had hit ‘save’ (my usual process is to hammer out a post, save it, go back and edit it, then publish it). Went back to it this morning and realized it was live. You all got to see an especially sarcastic rough draft. I’ll polish it up later.

I agree with the sentiment here on the forum. Mahindra is putting together all of these partnerships and purchases, yet no trucks for the US. Compared to setting up production for aircraft and getting them approved for flight, it seems like building a pickup is no big deal. Three years to get airplanes flying, but four years and counting for a pickup?

Hey customers have been waiting for the HondaJet for what seems like forever. its not like you can just through a nice motor in a chassis and weld a prop onto the output shaft, toss on a couple of wings that look big enough and away we go like it was in say 1920.

Hopefully this is being done under a different division so it won't iterrupt vehicle operations that are obviously under strain as is.
