I played with the numbers at the "Build Your Own Truck" web pages at Ford.com and, although I didn't quite make it to 2,740 pounds of payload, I did achieve 1950 pounds but ended up with an 4x4 XL sticker-priced at $30,500. If I had the patience, I might eventually get a 2,740 pound payload quote, but I bet the resulting sticker price will be a bit more than $30,500...

Even though I can get this truck on the Employee-purchase plan (& built in my home town), I am still pretty far away from the "chicken tax" price and payload of a TR20 4x4 - PLUS, I don't get the Diesel mileage and the compact size!

I'm just sayin'...

those few F150 models I already knew of but they are special one off's that are probably the most rare trucks to find on a dealer lot. Try building one like ACK did, hard to do.

Maybe I should say for the money and for the vast majority of cases the Mahindra has a higher payload than a half ton.
