As a M&M fan, I'd say 'its about time'.. Scorpio choked the sales of other SUVs in India when it was launched. But since then, there has been a flurry of higher end vehicles.

This is one space M&M can easily gain a foothold with its Scorpio experience. The word 'luxury' should mean higher margin too, right?

That would be pretty slick if Mahindra did what Jeep did with the Cherokee / Comanche and make a uni body pickup off of that platform assuming it has the engine straight not sideways .

It looks good. A lot like a Grand Cherokee but still nice looking. Maybe the second gen TR series trucks will look as good.
