Isn't that the same truck that was going to be imported as an electric only version for Phoenix Motors?!

Good job spotting that! That's definitely what it is:

Looks good, just think what the mpg would be with a Mahindra 2.2L and 6 speed, maybe 40 plus?

the 1000 lb payload would discourage me from this truck but I can see it working well for others. The all electric version would be decent for commerical businesses for deliveries and things.

1000 lb would work for me. I have been taking a hard look at the Ford Transit also..

Default Add 10 more mpg ...

Add 10 more mpg over a TR20, and assuming it could tow 2000 pounds, and it would be perfect for me.

I agree. I think there is a place for this truck in the US. Personally, I'm more concerned with towing capacity. According to their specs it will tow around 2300Kg/5000lb braked, and around 1800Kg/4000lb un-braked. That would work for me. My only 'issue', not that it looks bad, is that I would like to see it look a little more truck-like.

I'd be interested in buying one if it had a longer bed. Otherwise it's still a great looking truck.
