Pulling a light trailer -- a nice sound system and navigation would be appreciated options.

I have to ask mdcheif, have you ever heard of a large country called India? It is populated by hundreds of millions of people whose culture may be oldest in the world. There are also certain cultural and religious aspects to the country you may not be aware of, such as the reverance given to cattle. Last I heard, that is the source of leather. FYI, leather might not be an option in this truck anytime soon.

P.S. others here weren't as kind in their comments.
The only reason this truck looks ugly to you is because it is so different from what you're used to looking at. At first glance I was a bit uncertain myself, but it only took a few minutes to realize I was looking at something great. This little truck will get under American truck lovers skin in no time.

I don't care what color it is - the truck is good enough to wear anything well.

I've been in the market for a new truck for about 6 months. Everything leaves me just a little cold. This is the first truck I've seen that I think is worth serious consideration.

Default what I want:

A lift kit!

Steel front winch bumper.

Steel rear bumper with tilt out tire carrier and Jerry can mount.

rock rails for rocker panel protection.

Aftermarket locker (ARB, maybe?)

I'll probably end up fabbing most of that myself...

ack,

As soon as I have one , I'm heading over to this guy

Denver Off Road

for a new front bumper. It will be a bit pricey, but you can't beat this guys quality. Aluminum because of the front IFS.

Anyone interested, PM me, I'll add you to an e-mail list. This will probably happen with a small custom fab shop quicker than ARB or others get a bumper out.

I specially need the cab space. Not worry much about the since my handy man days are almost over. Still need some cab room for small items. Most of all need the MPG and torque to negotiate across mountain travel. Probably will get trailer hitch.

Layne at Denver Off Road, actually in the Grand Junction area now, is a really nice guy and makes a great product. He is as honest as they come.

As for a camper for your crew cab, You may want to talk to Northstar. They may be able to make an escape pod camper for our short bed Ute Bed that will fit a 6 foot bed. The issue that I am sure you are aware of is going to be your height/center of gravity. Given all the specs, I am sure they could build a camper unit that you would be happy with. Our Ute Bed for the crew cab is about 6' wide by 5'9" long.
Cheers,

I want a cold weather package:heated seats/heated mirrors/block heater.I'll take mine with the auto trans.Off road package as mentioned, plus some optional gear ratios. At least a limited slip but preferably a locker option. In that dept a Eaton G80 or powertrax. If it's true that the 2.2L diesel will give out 300 ft.lbs. of torque, that would make me very happy. If it delivers the economy of the 06 Jeep Liberty CRD that I had,I will be very happy indeed.

Ditto on the bun warmers and LSD/locker . I know that the little mHawk 2.2 will not be putting out 300 lbs. The stated amount is 236 which seems a little underwhelming but likely adequate for 85% of the time.
