Default Mahindra TR40 Crash Test on YouTube

Register to stop seeing this ad!

Epic fail: Just put up a post with video and a link to a TR40 4x4 crash test. This is a RHD Aussie truck without airbags, but an interesting video. I've also included links to the ANCAP test review. Let's hope the US trucks a little better.

If your firewall is locked down (like at work) it's probably blocked. Just go to YouTube and search on "Mahindra crash test".

Looks like youtube pulled the video due to copywrite violation or similar.

Just don't hit anything and it will be OK, ofcourse those crash tests wouldn't be so bad if the dummies weren't driving. They always hit the wall...

Actually in 2007 they didn't have air bags like they do now. The Ford ranger tested the same year got an ANCAP rating of 3 with airbags. I wonder if that would have made the difference between the Mahindra PIKUP with a rating of 2 and the ranger with a rating of 3. I believe since this test, several improvements were made in the Australian PIKUP, crumple zones, air bags, ABS breaking system that wasn't on the 07 models.
