Cool Economy , reliability, durability

Economy , reliability, durability......These are a few of my favorite things.......

I live in South Texas-A/C is a must, I think of cruise control as a safety factor (for me at least). If it's an automatic I don't need a cup holder-I'll just drink and drive--better rephrase that one, eh. I can roll up my own window and I bet I can reach all the way over to the other side and roll that one up-n-down,too. I can get the kid down the street to install a radio that'll thump it up. What I want from Mahindra is

Economy , reliability, durability.......

Me Too. It's indispensable.

It's a shame that you have to buy all that other electronic junk in the "dee lux" package to get cruise control.

A dump option would be nice for the 10-12 yards of compost I need to haul to my house this spring. Good thing the class 6 truck the nursery has does include dump bed

Every Mahindra Truck I saw in India had a manual transmission, mahindra will offer a manual after they get the first trucks launched. The manual transmission will require a new series of epa testing, they will be working on it while we are enjoying our Six Speed Automatics. Those of you looking for your base manual work trucks will get it in due time. Mahindra feels like the automatic, A/C, cush trucks will be the the bulk of the sales in the US, that is why they are developing it first. The ZF-6 speed is a sweet transmission, I have one in my Jaguar R model, it is smooth and keeps the motor in its torque band which will be very important for a small diesel engine.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Speculation was that the Scorpio when it came to America would have a ZF tranny. Right Bob?
