This may be obvious, but the Maxximo looks like it is built to compete in the Kei truck segment. In Japan, this exact sized truck is very common on the streets.
You may have seen Kei trucks in the US sold as alternatives to the John Deere Gator and various ATV (including the side-by-sides) for hunting use. They are not universally street-legal and the US Government has since stopped the importation of them. I bet they will be able to sell a lot of these trucks throughout Southeast Asia.
