Register to stop seeing this ad! I've been a diesel man since working on patrol river boats in Viet Nam. I have had a 6.2 jimmy 4x4, a diesel rabbit, still have the engine in a (caddy)VW truck,I have a 1993 Dodge Cummins, and a 2006 Jeep CRD. I do like them. I worked in quality control a few years ago and I know the Deming quality award is hard to get, Mahindra got it in their tractor division, but that does say alot about this company. Quality is what got the Japanese where they are today,Toyota must have let theirs slip some. I'm looking forward to see these trucks in person. |

I've been on this forum for a short while, but it seems to me that most everyone wants the same thing, our monies worth, a truck that will last. I hope we are not let down. Coach, I turn 61 this summer.

Anyway, I could tell we were close in age and experiences. I was in the Air Force Reserves for 6 years so I didn't go to Viet Nam. I had two older brothers (twins) that served as well. One was in the regular Air Force and he spent time in Cambodia. The other one was drafted in the Army and was in hand to hand combat in Viet Nam. Both survived but the one in the Army has never been the same. Count me in as one of the people that are looking for a dependable, functional, and economical pick up for daily use. |
