Register to stop seeing this ad! I am a motorcycle dealer in arlington texas. American motorcycle Trading co. I will also be a mahindra dealer in Arlington Texas. I have traveled to India, driven the trucks, met the principals and toured the assembly plant. These Diesel trucks are the real deal. I drive a dodge cummins and love it, the mahindra will fill a void in the market place. I cant wait to get my Demo, 4 Dr. 4wd leather and loaded. |

Great to see you Bob. A lot of us know about the Crosslander episode. Can you tell us what made you confident enough to pursue another franchise with Mr. Perez. You must have a lot of confidence in the Mahindra.
BTW are you going to get a TR20 or TR40. I'm waiting for a TR20 |

Welcome Bob...I am another Dodge man with 6.9 Cummins. Looking forward to the TR40 debut. I had posted another thread under TR40 regarding a dealer question ie... What happens if dealership is 200+ miles away and the vehicle breaks down. Does the dealership cover the tow????
2. Is there going to be a place to replace a damaged windshield or ??? at the dealership? Thanks for your response, I am sure others with dealerships some distance from them are wanting this same question answered.

Joe,
Mr. Perez is a very honorable man, the Crosslander ride was rough (no fault of his) but the beauty of the whole thing was Mr. Perez assembled a group of quality US dealers which Mahindra was looking for. It could not have worked out any better! I have the utmost confidence in Mahindra, I traveled to India and saw first hand what a quality organization Mahindra is. Just ask anyone in the US that has a mahindra tractor and they will not stop talking about how much they like them. |

Dan,
Don't get me started on the Cummins diesel, I am and always will be a loyal fan. There are some 350 plus dealers and growing. With the shake up in the economy several dealers have lost thier franchises, these are good dealers that were eliminated. These dealers will soon find out about the mahindra opportunity and become dealers. Initally there will be a shortage of dealers, if you are several miles away you will have to A) travel to your nearest dealership or b) deal with a dealer that can refer you to a qualified service facility, can ship the parts and coordinate the repairs. There are so many glass companies in the US they will have the winshields figured out before the trucks get here. Many of the components look very similar to parts that I have seen before. This picture of the rear differential on the SUV looks just like a dana 44, what do you think? ![]() With time there will be several available dealers except for some remote areas, the beauty of this truck is it is easy to work on. the do it yourselfer can change oil, air and fuel filters. |
