Ive been watching the Mahindra introduction with interest for what seems like a year now.
To me, a fan of first Gen SUV looks and function, I can't wait to see if this company can put together a blend of the tall narrow utility of a Trooper,
Montero, or Land Rover Double Cab 110, and the Fuel efficient whine of a Turbo Diesel.
So far we have been denied in this country.

The TR40 or Scorpio look promising.
Gotta have a 5 or 6 speed MANUAL trans, though. Unless this auto box is some world beater.
Limited Slip Differential and Skid Plate packages also a must.
Towing Package (ClassIII hitch, wiring, HD coolers, gearing) is also required to be taken seriously, especially out west.
