Hi ... I saw an article in The Army Times touting the Mahindra as the best thing since sliced bread ... is it turning out that sliced beread is better? I styill don't know if the truck is coming here ... anybody got a clue????

it sounds like they still plan on bring it here, when is the big question. The wind was taken out of the sails when the really poor EPA mileage estimates were erleased. They were significnatly below what was anticipated and provide almost no advantages over current trucks.

the general speculation is this was purposely sandbagged by Mahindra to buy them time to release the generation 3 trucks in the next year or so. those are supposed to have a completely new chassis, drive train, aerodynamics and ergonomics.
