Default This is possible the reason why we may not see the trucks until May 1st !

Register to stop seeing this ad!

This is my opinion, not from blogs.
It is common knowledge that Mahindra truck,US version, will be the flag ship and possible the same version that Mahindra will be exporting to Europe very soon.
I have also learned that Mahindra have bought the biggest space ever in a Expo, for the Shanghai expo show in May 1st.
It surelly explains now why they have been so secretive about showing what the truck looks like! I have been puzzled for sometime trying to figure out why Mahindra would not show updated photos of the US truck version, that it supposed to be out in a month or so... That explains it !!
They are also planning to debut a new mini truck, and show motorcycles etc.
I bet money they will show us what the new trucks will look like after May 1st.!

Expo 2010 Shanghai

Nearly 160 years after the first World Expo in London, Shanghai is hosting the World Expo in 2010. Following on from the success of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Shanghai has promised to host a spectacular event, showcasing the best of what China and the rest of the world’s nations have to offer, in the 21st century.

With 192 countries and 50 organisations confirming their participation, it is certain to offer the visitor an unforgettable experience, making it one of the most memorable World Expos in recent history.

Currently, Shanghai is one of the most vibrant cities on the planet, epitomizing the philosophy of “East meets West”. It is a city that will thrill and amaze, offering a mix of old and new; from the traditional Pu Xi (west of the river) to the bright lights of Pu Dong (east of the river) – it will, literally, take your breath away.

A Chinese saying states “If you want to see China’s past, go to Xian. If you want to see China’s present, go to Beijing but if you want to see China’s future, go to Shanghai”.

Does anyone know what the bed height is?? All these new trucks are so darn tall , unless you play for the NBA you can't reach a tool from the side of the truck. I'm 5' 10" and the current Toyota, Ford,Chevy and Dodge full-size are useless for a work truck. Too tall...Ford offers those kick-out side steeps $$$ and a ladder built into the tailgate$$$.. You know your truck is tooooo talllll when you need a built in ladder....

The spec sheet says bed depth is 21 inches but doesn't say what the height of the bed is measured from the deck. I'd guess though it's in the range of a Ranger or Taco 4x4. W/ that load capacity it would need to be.

You got it! This is is new generation. I would love to be able to see this Fair. Specially since it will have everything high tech that Asia has to offer. I am sure would be a fun and exotic trip!
Like I said, Mahindra is holding back a few items, as new motorcycle, truck, and the new TR-40 that they are hoping to sell it to the world, since if it makes here, it will make it anywhere!!!
I was hoping they would take pitty on us and let us have this truck before May, but it is clearly not going to happen. Specially that May is part of the "Late Spring" generic date BS.

The cool thing about it that they say that we will be able to Acess all areas online after May 1st.
I will be pissed if Mahindra makes wait that long before showing the truck, but very likelly it will happen. In this case, we will be able to see the truck online at their expo website!
