Default noticed something in the product pdf

Register to stop seeing this ad!

I pulled down the pdf from dfw mahindra to check a measurement.

I then noticed something in the pictures... and I see it here too in the banner at the top of the forum.

the pinwheel rims this thing has... unless they have left and right rims, the pinwheel will be going two different directions depending on the side of the truck you are looking at. Know what I mean?

Now that would be funny!
Just think of the apocalyptic asswhipping Mahindra would receive in the press (and from me) over that sort of screw up if it came to pass.

i notice in some other pics, they use a non-directional style spoke... but...there are some pics where you can see they didn't use left and rights... pinwheels go two different directions

I'm no wheel expert...but if I remember right, I did flip the direction of the truck picture for the header of this site...if you notice the steering wheel is on the wrong side also

flipping it won't change the fact that it's a directional design spoke, though. guess we won't know until we see one live and in person if they thought this through.

It not uncommon to have one wheel design w/ directional spokes on it. Look around, you'll see them. My wife's RX8 is like that, so is another friend's Camaro. My 'vette has four distinct wheels, talk about expensive to replace! OOF...
Update: Just ran out to get some dinner for the kids (pizza), saw a Tahoe, several Camry's, and two E250 vans... all w/ "directional" spokes which was one wheel regardless of side of car...

ps: Andy is a Ninja, but it's a secret so don't tell anyone...
