Well, I was one of the first to post here and I still have the same attitude. If they don't get the price right they're not gonna sell well. I'm old enough to remember the old Datsun and Toyota truck and other diesels from the '80s. They were cheap and got very good mpg. Obviously they weren't turbos (actually they were dogs)
but I'm not concerened with tire burning power. Just give me a truck I can commute 60 miles one way to work, get good mpg and pick up a load of lumber and feed on the way home and I'll buy one. IF the price is right.

Default where is the fleet of trucks?

[They're lining up a fleet of 25 trucks to drive 3.2 million miles around the US. We're pretty sure that's the collective mileage split between the 25 trucks — otherwise cheap Indian diesel pickup aficionados might be waiting around even longer.]

Anybody heard anything recently about that? That works out to 128,000 miles per truck, I hope they've started already.

Anybody wondering what kind of truck they're driving? They didn't have a pickup with this engine and transmission available when they invited pickuptrucks.com writer Mike Levine for a test drive. I don't think it means much if they're driving something else around the country, assuming they really are. It sounded good, anyway.
