Default I want a flat bed

Register to stop seeing this ad!

I've been doing my research, looking at the Australian Mahindra website, and considering what I haul. I was a little disappointed to see that the width between the wheel wells on the Mahindra trucks is 44 inches. A sheet of plywood is 48 inches. Also I haul 275-gallon tote tanks, and many of these tanks are 45 or 46 inches wide.

So what I want to know is: Will a cab and chassis model be available here in the U.S.? Will we have aluminum flatbed options like the Australian website shows? If I could get a TR40 with an aluminum flatbed that gave me more flat floor width, I'd be on the order list ASAP.

Anyone have info on bed options or bed deletes? For this truck to be such a utility-oriented truck, some people don't want fragile painted dentable pickup beds. Flatbeds are great for hard work.
