Register to stop seeing this ad! Found while scouring the internet for mhawk specifications... Never found complete specs but I did find this website local to India concerning their domestic vehicles. I didn't see any pickups mentioned, but all of Mahindra's SUV offerings are in evidence. It's an interesting read.Team-BHP - The Definitive Indian Car Community - Home I also found this local site: Indiacar.com - Buy/ Sell Cars, Prices, Research, Car Buyers Guide, Car Site, Questions, Car Quotes and much more cheers, -pete

Good finds! I hit up the Team-BHP site frequently. They are on top of all the domestic stuff and are quick to snap pics of anything they see being tested in India.

It's fascinating to read the perspective of people in India. It was also great to read viewpoints changed from 2006 to 2009. In 2006 the expectation was Mahindra would try to sell the Scorpio, and the feeling was that it was not good enough. They felt the Scorpio was designed to be low priced, and that it would bomb. In 2009 they were excited to see Mahindra design a high quality vehicle.
I also saw a great deal of pride that a company from India was taking on the US market. I bet the employees are really excited. I also rolled my eyes when a person from NYC posted what people from the US want in a pickup. |
