Register to stop seeing this ad! The Tech Specs for the TR20 and TR40 have the same dimensions. Looks to me that the single cab has a 6-7 foot bed, and the 4 door a 4-5 foot. Can anyone provide the correct dimensions?

I'm assuming you're looking at the spec sheet on the Mahindra website- there are dimensions given for the cargo box also, if you read down a little farther; the 2 door has a bed length of 91.92 inches, and the 4 door has a bed length of 60.31. The overall dimensions are the same for the TR20 and the TR40, so the cab on the TR40 must be 31.61 inches longer.

For me, a 7 foot bed would be as useful as the current 7 1/2 foot bed. Neither will haul an 8 foot sheet of plywood with the tailgate closed. The reduced overhang with a 7 foot bed could improve towing and off road use. Ideally the next generation TR20 will have an increased wheelbase to reduce rear overhang or provide a full 8 foot bed (or both).
