Register to stop seeing this ad!

I thought I read somewhere that you COULD order the CRD diesel kit from any Jeep dealership and get it put in a Wrangler. Maybe that was misinformation, but it would be a nice package.

Yup, good mag. I let mine run out also. The tech stuff was interesting when they didn't leave too many questions unanswered, and there was too much impractical way-high dollar equipment on display for my taste. (Eye candy only goes so far when you have to "run what you brung" on the street every day.)
But I still buy it occasionally...

If Mahindra does it right and the offerings take off we're definitely going to see a response from Chrysler/Fiat. The Wrangler is just itching for a diesel and Fiat certainly has them. (Or maybe I'm itching for a Wrangler diesel, hard to tell before coffee...)

I was reading Chrysler's business plan on their website. It states a Diesel Wrangler should be in the showrooms at the end of 2010 (I would guess a 2011 model)
