Register to stop seeing this ad! Or is this off limits too?3.42 3.73 4.10 4.56 etc... and is this rear end a locker? If so, how? Limited slip, electronic, vacuum actuated? When I buy myself a new truck, I specify the rear end ratio, and as of late, locking capability, not the factory. Does Mahindra know better than the actual end users? I seriously doubt it. The more I learn about this truck and company, the less I likely I'll buy one. |

I do have a feeling that it wont be 4:10. Think about fuel mileage. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say 3.73. Guesstimate only.

I would say there will be no choice for axle ratio.
I think it will depend where the engine makes its power. If you gear this thing to low youll get no top end. Im not going to guess on the ratio as the fords 6.0 powerstroke used 4.56 and gm duramax used 3.73. If they dont come with a locked rearend of some sort thats a deal breaker. |
