Default Mahindra GIO half-ton pickup

Register to stop seeing this ad!

Check out this article I found on the Mahindra GIO. Basically a jump up from the crappy little 3-wheeled things you see running around all over Asia.

The Hindu Business Line : Mahindra launches half-tonne pickup

Why do I think it's pretty cool?

Default yes

I think its cool. I think the future of the auto will change here and little trucks like this will be used more and more. I like that it is using an American engine.

I am still leaning towards a TR40 4x4

Same Kool. I think that little truck is cool! With 4x4 and some mud tires, it could definitely come in handy!

Mike Levine at PickupTrucks.com wrote up a nice article on the Gio with some better photos late last week. Here is the link: Mahindra Introduces the Gio - the Nano of Pickup Trucks - PickupTrucks.com News

Nice pictures on that link there. I love that fact that it's powered by a Kohler engine. Gave me a little chuckle.

+1 on the Kohler, I think it is great. I wish that the U.S. would get stuff like that, it would be perfect just to jump in and head to the corner store for food / coors!
