Register to stop seeing this ad! I know Mirhandra had a map showing dealers but are they tractor dealers or truck dealers or both? I live in a small town in central KY and will have to travel to even see one of these trucks. I would like to know if there is a dealer somewhere near central KY so I can take a look when they start importing. |

I feel sure that the dealer map at the Global Vehicle site is for Mahindra vehicles, not tractors. I can see three dealers indicated in central Kentucky, one each in Nicholasville, Somerset and Louisville. I think there are probably quite a few inconsistencies and possibly errors in that map at this time, since some dealers that signed on are backing out and others are coming in. I noticed a dot in South Carolina that was labeled for Pennsylvania, so I wouldn't vouch for its accuracy, besides, technically at this time there are no Mahindra vehicle dealers in this country- they are labeled as "potential dealer locations".

I know some areas of the country won't be seeing inventory until later, but around here (Georgia- just a few miles from GV's headquarters) they are supposedly kicking off sales in literally a few weeks (eight or so?). I assume dealers know who they are, and want customers to be able to find them, but Mahindra USA still refers to "potential dealer locations" using no names, only zip codes and towns. This is the most mysterious non launch of a new vehicle I could imagine- I think their "viral campaign" caught a bug like laryngitis, because it sure is quiet around here. The only logical reason I can come up with for their silence is that they've got serious problems with getting the vehicle ready for sale- through the testing and all- and if it fizzles, the less fanfare the better. The forgotten CrossLander would be remembered all over again, much to their chagrin.
