Question What will be the first aftermarket products?

Register to stop seeing this ad!

So, what do you think the first aftermarket accessory will be for the Mahindra Trucks?

What do you think the first aftermarket performance product will be?

Who will make them?

I have a feeling that people will start making tonneau covers for it pretty quick. And I have a feeling that K&N will probably come out with an air filter for this truck pretty quickly.

I would definitely be geared towards sound. You kno how they love to make these trucks now a days so quiet. K & N, Exhaust.

What they will come out with... I'm sure that existing fabrication companies will try to get their bull bars and what not to fit the new truck.

The typical crap. Brush guards, nerf bars, bed liners and the like.
One year after it's released, it'll be just like every other truck on the market.
Whored out by dealers who're starving.

Hay spear attachments for the rear, full frontal bull bars for nudging cattle out of the way (needs to protect the head lights completely), rear window protector, receiver hitch

That's how I will dress mine out. I can see pulling a smaller horse trailer like a 2 horse trailer.

I was wondering about camper tops and such- who will make them and who will sell them? I talked to our local camper top/r.v. supplier, and they told me the obvious, which I hadn't thought of: "If the numbers aren't there to make a profit selling a fiberglass camper top, they won't make one." Do we as the consumer have to initiate the demand? I was counting on being able to get a top for my truck (Mahindra or whatever), I'd hate to have to drive a plywood and house paint home made contraption.

Default patience, grasshopper.

I got a response to an e-mail to A.R.E. (big truck cap manufacturer):"We will likely make something for this truck, but at this time we do not
have a design or a timeline yet as to when this will become available."
