Thumbs down I'm not waiting around any longer either...

However, I'll be God-Dammed if anybody thinks that I'm just going to sheepishly kowtow and blow a big wad of cash that I really don't have on some over-priced, over-accessorized gas hog that I really don't want.

Let's just say that I plan on putting them together, soon:

Tell us how you really feel

I agree with the sentiment, but ya may want to be building something a tad smaller. I have a feeling we will all be piling our family onto mopeds be the end of the year when all hell breaks loose in the middle east. Gas is cheap right now.

In the shed in the second pic rests my 2007 Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500. It bought the farm last spring (AGAIN!), and I'm toying with the idea of repowering it with a Lombardini diesel. This outfit sells the complete kit to change the whole thing over (I've already been corresponding with them):

1A - HIRE RENT, RENTAL OF ROYAL ENFIELD MOTORCYCLE INDIA. BUY SELL YOUR BIKE, EXPORT RESTORED ENFIELDS.

You're putting a 4BT (I think that's what it is, right?) in a 7ooo lb International? Well, send us pics when it's done!

When I talked to them last fall, they quoted me a price of INR75000, or roughly 1200USD (1600 last fall when I looked it up on XE!).

You betcha!

If a 4BT is capable of satisfactorily propelling an M37 or an M715, it should be more than capable of handling a Light Line pickup. In fact, this won't be the first one to be so equipped.
