Default Uh, oh.

Register to stop seeing this ad!

Today, the mahindra.com site has vanished with no links. Hmmmm. I hope this doesn't bode the hasty departure of the little diesel truck I've been waiting for since the 80s!

Anyone out there with any info?!?!

I haven't been looking at the Mahindra.com site, but it was still there when I looked for it- I've gotten used to the mahindrana.com site (Mahindra North America). Maybe they were doing some site maintenance. I doubt we're going to get rid of them so easily . . .

Default not looking good for global

Story came out earlier today that Global Vehicles USA lost its injunction against Mahindra motors. Appears they have been fighting for years. I could care less, Mahindra has a winning product and holds all the cards. Sorry Global. Hope Mahindra sells directly to dealers and mahindra gains a real toehold in america and soon.

Hmmm, ya, at this time MahindraNA.com appears to be down. And GV-USA.com is no longer the same site as MahindraNA.com. It appears that GV-USA.com is going back to a standard corporate site but is currently under construction.

So now, the questions is... will Mahindra attempt to get back into the US shortly? And will they try to connect with the existing dealer network that already paid a ton of money to be dealers?

One of the nice things about GV is that Perez and the other guys there were always very willing to talk to bums like me and great guys like Chris at MahindraPlanet. Whereas it's really hard to get any kind of feedback or information from Mahindra itself.

Hah! You are too kind, Andy. Believe me, both GV and Mahindra have had their issues with me. Can't make everyone happy all of the time.

I wonder if shuttering the site has something to do with the tirbunal forcing GV to withdraw the US lawsuit...

I see some kind of settlement in the near future where GV gets some money out of the deal to just go away. At least that is what my crystal ball is saying.

Either way it goes....mahindra in my book sux.No matter what they bring in I will not buy it.I don't need to.With the performance (or lack there of) numbers vs.mpg,it's a no brainer.I have almost that mpg right now with a full size gasser that isn't even close to being broke in.Not with just a bit over 700 miles on it.Another area that has not even been touched on yet is when they do have trucks sold here, how will they,(the m&m factory) deal with customers that modify their rigs?Go to a better flow exhaust and less restrictive intake which for us is a common and inexpensive mod,how will the factory react to what us good ol boys do to our trucks? Void the warranty? Refuse to service etc? From what I have seen they have little regard for the written word or laws in this country. No,they blew it big time for me at least, and I'm the guy who buys a new rig every 2 to 3 years since the 60's.Screw them and their ways and stay out of my country.

At this point Mahindra would have to come in at around $15,000.00 for a TR40, 4x4, loaded to get my money.
