I agree that it is hard to work up much enthusiasm for a vehicle we will probably never see (unless they slap a Ssongyang badge on it). The TR20 has a much more functional look to it, I had gotten to like it better than the "mushy" rounded shapes of many current trucks. That said, it looks like this truck should have better aerodynamics, so maybe that will help out on the M.P.G. and have a quieter cabin. Of course, there are those hooks/loops on the bed sides to debate over again, I think this time I'd be for them.

Ya, the new truck looks very modular. Like, you could put a pickup bed on it, maybe a mini-van attachment, or even a set of wings and a tail.
