I've been looking for info on Volkswagen's new pickup, now called the "Amarok". Some new spy photos of it were posted this week:

Predictably, they're NOT planning on bringing this truck to the U.S. market. Of course it's available with a range of TDI turbo-diesel powerplants.

If Mahindra gets their act together, hopefully they'll show there's a market for smaller diesel pickups and induce some of the other manufacturers to follow suit.

I saw this a while back, I was so bummed that they were not releasing it. But then the Mahindra came along.
