Well Folks,

Its time for me to get a new ride and I'll be in a nice Tacoma later next week.
This SNL type skit has run its course and I'm not amused anymore.
These not ready for prime time players are not getting any of my cash any time soon. Best of luck to you all.

None of us can blame ya,it seems like a long running bad joke.I looked at a taco but they aren't rated to pull more then 3500 lbs.,so I'm going to get a new F150 after the holidays.I ain't waiting either bro.

Originally I wanted to buy a Mahindra, I don't trust them any more. I'm gonna hold out for a 2012 Ranger "fingers Crossed" with a Ecoboost..

Last I heard, the Ranger is gone after the 2011 model year.have you heard different? I do know that Ford has a "global ranger" but they said it ain't going to be available here in the USA.Why,I have no idea.I would want one too.It would fit my needs better then the bigger f150.

Unfortunately, I have also heard definite and official statements from Ford that we will not have a Ranger in this country after model year 2011 unless their plans change. They reserve the right to change their plans, but they seem intent on giving the idea a try. If they decide quickly that they made a mistake, I don't know how many years it would take them to get back in the game- seems like it would take a while. You'd think that somewhere in the organization somebody would be working on a "just in case things don't work out" new Ranger plan.

I know , Ford has officially said the Ranger was gone...?...? But they wouldn't release the mpg for the new power plant line up early due to the fact that if you new something better was coming F150 sales for 2009 and 2010 would have been near zero.. Just like we were waiting on Mahindra.. The more I think about it, what that salesman at Ford said the Regional sales manager said makes sense.. A 2012-13 Ranger based off the new Explorer. It would be a little larger, cheaper to develop due to sharing a platform and an already EPA approved engine ??

umm, "pick-up sized trucks"?

You meant full size pickup, right?
