Angry Tech support

Register to stop seeing this ad!

While the trucks look good I have some technical reservations.
After dealing with Norton, Dell and Kodak's tech support within the last 10 days I am more concerned about having a Mahindra truck. The afore mentioned companies all have off shore (read India) tech support. They all did a waste of my time, imcompetant, in my opinion, job, which cost me a lot of money for nothing.

Judging a country from their low paid and ill trained tech support? Ive experienced only marginally better from 'onshore' tech support... What's that mean?

something tells me that if you have trouble with the truck you wouldn't be calling Mumbai trying to schedule a repair or oil change, that will be a local deal who is likely quite competent but wants to lie and steal all your money.

I'm thinking he's worried about warranty problems from the factory. Can't blame him either as I have serious reservations about factory support as well, which doesn't have anything to do with the dealers. They can't fix without the parts type of thing.

I don't think I knew that.I did know that the factory has to keep parts available for a certain amount of time for each model produced and sold here.Actually none of m&m is of concern to me anymore with the exception of wanting to see the outcome of the soap opera. But I do wonder how m&m will react when after they have sold some tr's here, and see how they are modified by the owners. You know, lifts, exhaust, cai, programmers etc. That just might put them over the edge......lmao

I'd be pissed at you too to be honest if you told me you could understand and that you didn't even speak your own language (hick-talk) They know there is a language barrier and he was probably embarrased by that. I sure wouldn't want to try and learn to speak Hindi and speak to 100 frusterated Indian's a day.

The law says 10 years, but if they are not from within our border we have no true control. Look what yugo did , walked away and left us with junk cars and no parts... And howam00 it's a shame that our stores are filled with everything made in China and if you have an issue with it and call support you get India ect. We have a true unemployment rate with all facts considered of around 18%. That equals millions of people standing in the unemployment line wearing shoes made in China and other clothing made in Indonesia and Vietnam ect. We Americans are literally cutting our own throats ..

I believe this might be down to 7 years, I get frustrated Ford customers in my parts store all the time with parts that Ford has already obsoleted, for very late model stuff.
