It's not us cutting our own throats,it's our politicians and industrial leaders that are always in pursuit of money.Farming out everything they can to make more profit.I have nothing against making money, but at the expense of our own people is where I would draw the line, jmho.

Its what we get for capitalism. Stuff is built at the lowest cost and that sure isn't in the US. Besides it will come back around and it is already starting to. China will want cheaper goods that are made in india and Indian's will want cheaper stuff made in say Africa. Eventually we'll be a cheap source of production again or conversely as the Eastern countries have more money they will want the higher quality goods made here and in Europe versus the cheap crap they make.

It just wont happen in 6 months more like 6-10 years.

I have a Brill reel style mower. I'd speak to someone in Germany, good thing I took a year of it in highschool. Then again the way it is built it will never breakdown on me.

"Tox" your right to the extent that our politicians are selling us out, but we are buying the Chinese crap at Wal-Mart. The consummer has the final say in what they buy. And "How" capitalism works great when the Gov. stays out of it. I recently backed my truck (08 Ranger) into a tree and at 2 years old it was hard to find a new back bumper....

I looked everywhere for an aftermarket. I would have loved to have found a good sturdy one . That factory bumper crumpled like a toy and cost $500.00 to replace.. $1,250.00 counting the tailgate . Darned tree jumped right out behind me.

I am not sure if the half of your statement about no parts that applies here since since M&M has their tractor business. There is somebody to hold responsible. Of course they can sell us junk vehicle.
