Default bye-bye Down Payment

Register to stop seeing this ad!

Have had enough of the waiting, just spent most of my TR20 down payment fund.

Back in April I would have purchased the truck, over the past months started to question buying the 'first edition' imports and have accepted we won't see trucks until 2011 (if then). Thinking it most likely would be wise to wait and see what other manufacturers offer by 2012 . . . Jeep might still happen after all.

So I've gone an spent a good chunk of the TR20 down payment fund. That will force my truck purchase into 2012. M&M's games have created profit for someone else. But would you believe the TR20 4x4 Diesel pick-up down payment has been spent on a 2wd Segway!

That's a real change in transportation goals.

Now how do I carry that cord of firewood . . . . . . one log at a time.

Mahindra I want: TR20 4x4, more likely a Jeep 2012 that is based on Gladiator concept of 2005

Any idea how well the off-road segway does and will it climb a hill.

My TR40 fund went up in smoke too... But I got a nice truck to show for it!

@Bugman: Remember, a Segway is technically all wheel drive.

I've tried water skiing, roller skating and surfing with no success so I'm assuming I'd have a hard time riding a Segway also.

Default Wonderful

Wonderful.
Really like Duluth Diesel "Segway is technically all wheel drive " and ToxicSludge "With posi.... ".

= = =

As for going off-road. Insurance companies classify it as 'off-road use' but they mean off-street not 4x4 OFF-ROAD. There is a low pressure fat tire dirt trail model, of course at a higher price and lower miles per charge.

Bugman can also relax "water skiing, roller skating and surfing with no success". Segway does the balancing for you. Just have to stand up and be sober!

Wasn't it that fat-tireed version that the company's owner drove off a cliff on? Now THAT's power-segwaying...

Yeah it was his off road variant that took him off the cliff. Tragic wheeling right there...

I'll walk, thanks.
