I bought an old Mercedes diesel and put a new trailer hitch on it, wired it for lights and...I don't need a truck anymore (as long as I stay on road.)

Default Miles Adding up

Have over 200 miles now on Segway.
Still fun, still cold and wet, still here and moving.
Not waiting and waiting for M&M.

I still have a 12valve cummins 2wd , but did pick up a cheap little Suzuki Grand Vitara for the snow ... Still have some funds for the down payment .
I was out looking at a Tacoma the other week ... I pretty good price , I resisted the urge ...I'm hoping the new trucks will hit the market soon ... atleast a test drive would be great !

I've given up on the trucks showing up here in the next year. I still have an objective interest in things, but it is GV's mission to see that the trucks don't get here unless GV handles it, and it seems to be M&M's position that it ain't gonna happen that way. We're looking at picking up a modest second home on the water somewhere, and that will pretty much be the icing on the cake for my new vehicle schemes. I guess given the state of things in Mahindra world, a used truck is not such a bad plan, anyway.

I'm getting tired of building my own diesel powered trucks ... I hope they work thru all the barriers , I know its going to be a battle with all the other auto makers not wanting a truck like the Mahindra hitting the market .

VERY cool dude! I had a '86 'burban 1 ton... that is, the dude I bought it from slid a 1 ton suspension under a 3/4 ton chassis. Only had a 350 gas, but he was unstoppable...
