Register to stop seeing this ad! What if I bought a new TR40,what would I do.First would be a flowmaster 40 to replace the stock muffler. Then would come new A/T's,and some sort of performance air filter.Okay, all that's done and I'm happy and the truck is all happy now too.Something comes up that needs to be addressed by the dealer under warranty, say a slight water leak around the pump.Would m&m void my warranty because of a few unrelated mods?So here's the real question:Is m&m aware of Americans propensity to modify/personalize our rides?Hmmm.......

Hmm, that is a good question. Mild intake/exhaust mods shouldn't compromise your warranty, but then who knows?
The only way tires should have any effect on your warranty is if they're way oversized from OEM. If these vehicles take off, I see a HUGE potential for aftermarket dress up/hop up sales. It's already happening in their own country:

I think in the lift case it could cause undo stresses on other parts of the vehicle and that would not be covered by I was goign off your changing the exhaust example. So long as it meets the emissions regs (and nose ordinances) for your state it is legal and canot void warranty. A car to your nearest ambulance chaser tends to get the dealers attention REALLY fast. |
