Rumor has it that the Ram 1500 just might go with the diesel that Cummins had already developed for it,now maybe GM might do the same thing.I love having a choice......now.....will Ford weigh in on this?

Actually I think Ford is in the best position on this and here is why. That same motor is already being produced for the 2011 Range Rovers. This will mean that tooling is in place and production started. It will have to meet Euro 6 compliance in the next year or so and I don't think it is much more of a jum to meet T2B5 from Euro 6.

That being said I bet it is at least a solid year away from making it into any Ford products.
