Default Finally someone is talking about the MM fall launch.

Register to stop seeing this ad!

This is what I was told today by dealer...
""Mahindra rolls out a low-key marketing campaign this fall, sponsoring fishing, golf and volleyball tournaments while an 18-truck caravan traverses the country."

I can't MM just come out and say that !!?? We all would have felt better and could wait patiently than. But no.....

Its funny how we are truly the advertisers for M&M. Maybe Andy should be getting paid for running the forum which seems to be the only word on the net about the trucks and their status!

wow finally some news. Why the fall though?! Were we talking about August/Spetember just yesterday?! Oh well at least this massive ball of wax is starting to roll.

Can any of our resident dealers on the forum confirm this news?!

Okay... sounds like Mahindra will be marketing in the fall. That really says nothing about the release date. It would seem to be more indicative of the release being before this fall, but my speculation is really no better than your's or the dealer's.

It's funny how Edmunds.com listed the release date in September a while back, seems that they were the best on judging when Mahindra was going to release the little beast.

Well I have 1 year until my Subaru's lease is up. Hopefully I can get a Mahindra then.

I think this "fall" prediction is the same as Edmunds had predicted back in January. September 2010.
MM would not be able to do it any sooner at this point. If EPA given them a hard time, requiring more test, re-test, or as some have saide (US makers will pressure EPA to delay Mahindra...) than Mahindra may not be out this year at all.

Default US Pressure

You have to remember, our government now owns part of GM. A government should never own part of a private business sector because you can't help but wonder if part of the reason a new rival company experiences delays is because of the government.

That's highly speculative.. I don't think that MM would even cut into GM sales at all... There is no motive or interest for the government to do such a thing.
