I think we are all in the same boat as far as an initial release date. Apparently the southeast market will get them a few days or weeks earlier as this is where the trucks will be shipped.

MP gets a lot of traffic from CA, particularly Chula Vista and other parts of SoCal. But I have yet to find a single confirmed dealer in all of CA.

You can thank CARB for that. California's emissions standards are much stricter than anywhere else in the nation, due to the smog problems in the larger cities.

NY state isn't much better, but it looks like we're getting several dealers. There was a long time you couldn't buy a Volkswagen TDI in NY state due to emissions laws.

Yesterday I found an article from 2008 saying that Galpin Ford in North Hills, CA was considering a Mahindra franchise. I've added them to the MP Dealer Directory. This was the only mention of a CA dealer I could find on the web. Mahindra Planet: USA Mahindra Dealer Directory
